Starting out in the city of Maastricht (NL), Solomon laid down the foundation for a hopeful and promising future by means of many live performances and a loyal fanbase. In 2019, the Maastricht-based Bruis festival paved the way to nearby Germany and Belgium, Popronde 2022, and ESNS 2023. These adventurous strides mark the beginning of a new journey, letting those who enjoy their music travel along to experience the band’s evolved sound. Their new songs are memorable and immersive; smooth, edgy and full of character. Eager to perform and to tread new grounds, Solomon go their own way in the world of alternative/indie, following in the footsteps of such bands as Elbow, Bon Iver, The National, Editors and Radiohead.

The debut album – It’s All Downhill From Here – was released on January 20th 2023. It’s a personal and adventurous retelling of the journey that the band has been undertaking for the past three years, with none of the ups and downs, dreams and disappointments left untapped. The songs are brimming with atmosphere and melancholy, inviting the listener into a world of introspective exploration, though always with a soothing message of hope.
